March Newsletter: A Month of Momentum… And More to Come!
March was a powerful month for the NO MORE community. From the energy of NO MORE Week to critical convenings at the UN Commission on the Status of Women, we saw advocates, partners, and survivors from around the world come together to say: enough is enough.
As we close out the month, we carry that momentum forward into Sexual Assault Awareness Month, another critical moment to amplify survivor voices, drive prevention efforts, and stand united in our commitment to ending domestic and sexual violence. Read on for highlights from the past month and exciting ways to get involved in the weeks ahead.
United in Action: NO MORE Week 2026 in Review
March 2nd–8th marked another impactful NO MORE Week! Communities around the world united to take action against domestic and sexual violence by holding special local events, speaking out on social media, and participating in the NO MORE Week Challenge, our annual Walk/Run. It was truly heartening to see so many individuals and teams sharing their progress as they completed the Challenge, bringing creativity, dedication, and greater awareness to the cause. We were also inspired by all our sector partners who highlighted their initiatives and shared their expertise on the KNOW MORE blog, deepening the collective conversation around prevention and response.
Check Out Highlights from NO MORE Week 2026
The week culminated with the second annual Honduras Says NO MORE 5K on International Women’s Day. More than 200 women and families ran in solidarity with survivors worldwide.
Launching Brazil’s FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™ Initiative
One of the highlights of NO MORE Week was the launch of Brazil’s bold new initiative to use the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™ as a platform to help prevent violence against women and girls. The new effort is in partnership with NO MORE as well as Visit Embratur (Brazilian Tourist Board), Empresa Brasil de Comunicação (EBC), and the Cristo Sustentável Consortium. We also created the Brazil Says NO MORE chapter to facilitate the campaign and build a lasting legacy beyond 2027.
To mark the launch, a special ceremony was held at the Christ the Redeemer Sanctuary in Rio de Janeiro, with the monument illuminated in NO MORE’s teal in support of survivors of violence and a commitment to culture change. In addition, a new PSA was created featuring football legends like Raí and Cafu delivering a powerful message: NO MORE to gender-based violence and femicide.

Bringing NO MORE’s Corporate Network Together During CSW70
This month, we were proud to attend the 70th Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in New York City, one of the most important global convenings on gender equality and women’s rights.
During the week, we hosted the second in-person meeting of our Corporate Network Against Domestic and Sexual Violence, bringing together corporate partners from across sectors to share innovative approaches for combatting abuse in the workplace, through their products and platforms, and as part of their social impact community efforts. Conversations like these are a testament to what’s possible when sectors come together to treat domestic and sexual violence as the urgent priorities they are; we’re grateful to our Corporate Network founding members – Match Group, National Football League (NFL), Uber, and Vodafone Americas Foundation – and all the private sector partners that continue to join us!
Sexual Assault Awareness: Run for Team NO MORE in the Denim Runs
As we move into Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we invite our community to lace up and join Team NO MORE in the Denim Runs. Presented by the Summer Willis Foundation, the Denim Runs is the first national race series dedicated to honoring survivors of sexual assault and preventing abuse.

Races are taking place in Los Angeles on April 12th, New York City on April 18th, and Austin on April 25th, each bringing together a vibrant community of survivors and allies running for change. The kick-off race in L.A. will feature appearances by honorary starters Monica Lewinsky, Sarah Klein, Lisa Philips, and Sasha Pieterse Sheaffer and be followed by a Wellness Festival at Santa Monica Pier featuring nonprofits, fitness classes, arts & crafts, interactive exhibits, and more.
If you’re unable to make it to a physical race, a virtual option is open all month long, so don’t wait to sign up!
