Working Together to End Domestic and Sexual Violence

Lex Ruhlen
After surviving two years of abuse and being kidnapped by her ex-partner, Lex has dedicated herself to raising awareness and inspiring others to leave unsafe relationships.
Her advocacy has reached national audiences through her impactful social media content and appearances at speaking events, podcasts, and news outlets like NBC and Good Morning America. She uses her story to educate others on red flags, coercive behavior, and healthy relationships, impacting hundreds of lives and inspiring others to share their stories, seek support, or report their abuse. Earlier this year, she joined NO MORE as a runner on our team at the 2025 NYC Half Marathon, using the opportunity to share her story and spotlight our mission.
We’re thrilled to have her joining us as an Ambassador and look forward to our work together to raise awareness and prevent domestic and sexual violence.
Claire Merrick
Claire is an actor, writer, and advocate using the power of storytelling to raise awareness and drive change around domestic and sexual violence. Through her upcoming stage production The Tower—which features input from NO MORE and supports our work as its chosen charity partner—she is bringing these urgent issues into the spotlight.
Claire is committed to prevention through education. Her work centers on making audiences confront the realities of violence against women and the urgent need for cultural and systemic change. She believes in the power of public engagement to elevate women’s voices and challenge the realities of abuse that too many face.
As a NO MORE Ambassador, Claire brings a powerful new voice from the arts to our community. We’re thrilled to be joining her in using creativity and compassion to build a future free from domestic and sexual violence.
